Our Community Involvement

As a locally owned family business, we are committed to serving our community. We do many things to help both on a local and national level. Our showroom supports the American Breast Cancer Research Foundation through the sales of our Pink Ribbon Welcome Mats. We have also participated in Westland’s American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Detroit’s Making Strides for Breast Cancer and this year 2009’s Race for the Cure in Downtown Detroit. In just the past two years alone, we’ve raised more than $10,000 to fight for a cure! We also support the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and we were presented with a piece of World Trade Center steel for our support of the Building for America’s Bravest program. The program creates smart homes for injured service members. 

April 19, 2008 was proclaimed by Westland’s Mayor William Wilds to be National Green Select Day. Making a change in the world and making environmentally responsible decisions requires a group effort and we’re in this together with our community by adopting and cleaning Curtis Woods Park on Palmer Road in Westland.
